I Love You, I Believe You
Once there was a man named Giovanni who was deeply infatuated with his girlfriend, Isabella. One day, while they were out on a walk in the park, Giovanni decided it was the perfect time to tell Isabella how he felt. He turned to her, looked deeply into her eyes and said, “Isabella, I love you.”
Isabella looked back at him and responded, “I believe you, Giovanni. But just to be clear, did you say you love me or you’re going to kill me?”
Giovanni was taken aback, and said “What do you mean? I said I love you.”
Isabella replied “I’m sorry, I thought you said ‘I’m going to kill you'”
Giovanni smirked and said “No, no, I definitely said I love you. But, now that you mention it, I can’t wait to see the look on your face when I will”
Isabella’s expression turned to fear, and she started to back away, but it was too late, Giovanni had already grabbed her by the throat and squeezed tightly until her body went limp. He then dragged her body to a nearby lake and threw it in, watching as it sunk to the bottom. He then walked away, happy in the knowledge that he had finally rid himself of Isabella and her constant doubt of his love.
