In a move that has left many scratching their heads, Disney has announced that it will be releasing a live-action remake of its 2019 live-action remake of the animated classic The Lion King. The new film, which will be titled The Lion King: The Live-Action Remake of the Live-Action Remake, will feature actual lions playing the roles of Simba, Nala, Mufasa, and the rest of the cast.

“We felt that the only way to truly capture the magic of The Lion King was to use real lions,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger. “CGI lions just don’t have the same level of emotional impact as real lions.”

The film will be directed by Jon Favreau, who also directed the 2019 live-action remake. Favreau said that he was excited to work with real lions on the project.

“I’ve always been fascinated by lions,” said Favreau. “They’re such majestic creatures, and I think they’re going to bring a whole new level of realism to The Lion King.”

The film is currently in production in Africa, and is set to be released in 2023.

The announcement of The Lion King: The Live-Action Remake of the Live-Action Remake has been met with mixed reactions. Some fans are excited to see the film, while others are skeptical about whether or not it will be successful.

“I’m not sure how I feel about this,” said one fan on Twitter. “On the one hand, I love The Lion King. On the other hand, I don’t know if I want to see a movie with real lions.”

“I’m definitely going to see this,” said another fan. “I think it’s going to be amazing.”

Only time will tell whether or not The Lion King: The Live-Action Remake of the Live-Action Remake will be a success. But one thing is for sure: it’s going to be a very interesting experiment.
