Dear Dr. Fullerton: This past week, I have been up late every night trying to remember the Happy Days episode where the Fonz got into trouble and he mentioned pink elephant to Richie.  Everyone keeps telling me I’m confused or that it never happened.    At first I drank to forget, but that’s not working. Doctor, how did Fonzie get into trouble with the pink elephant and what is my solution?  –  Fonzing Out Here

Dear Fonzing:  Arthur Fonzarelli was indeed a troubled man.  The Fonz stole all the money from the Cunninghams to build a theme park to attract his ex-girlfriend Pinky Tuscadero. The theme of the park was pink and elephants because Pinky loved the color and she drank like an elephant.  Pinky did visit the park, but she wasn’t alone.  She was accompanied by that bastard Potsy.    Ralph Mouth saw first and stated to him, “Hey Fonzie check out the happy couple…Potsy and Pinky.”  It was an insignificant comment, but forced Fonzie to his knees in anger. His eyes began to flicker red with flames.  In front of the monstrous pink plaster elephant his flames burst out of his body.  It was a case of spontaneous human combustion.  Fonzie’s anger caused the fire that destroyed the park, the children and everyone.  The final shot of the show was a pink elephant in flames with Pinky and Potsy walking towards the camera hand in hand. This must be what you are thinking of.  The episode only aired once. You can probably find it on YouTube if you look for it late every night.  Search “Fonzie Spontaneous Combustion Pink Elephant Park Kills Everyone.”  the censors usually take it down quickly so keep looking. — The Honorable Dr. Charles V. Fullerton, G.P.
